As you may already know that Bahrain has suspended the entry of travelers arriving from red list countries, which includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. But people from a certain category are still eligible for travel to Bahrain from these countries.
Here are the detailed travel guidelines and entry requirements for those who are traveling to Bahrain from any of the countries mentioned in the Red List.
Entry Requirement
Effective 23 May 2021, all passengers traveling to Bahrain are required to provide proof of residence (owned or rented by passenger or first family) or prepaid hotel reservation in their name at the Indian departure airport for the 10 days quarantine at a government-designated hotel licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority or their residence upon arrival.
RT-PCR Test Requirement
All passengers, aged 6 years and above, traveling from India to Bahrain are required to carry a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test result, with the test/sample taken not more than 48 hours before their departure. The test must be conducted at ICMR-approved labs and the report should have a machine-readable QR code.
Health Declaration Form
Passengers must also complete the health declaration form in duplicate before arrival in Bahrain. All passengers with smartphones must download the “BEAWARE BAHRAIN” application before arrival.
On Arrival In Bahrain
On arrival, all passengers must pay for Three COVID-19 Tests, one of which is done immediately after arrival, the second on the 5th day, and the third on the 10th day of arrival into Bahrain. Passengers must pay online using BeAware mobile application or through the link http://bh.bh/covidpay.
