The Federal Council of Switzerland on Monday announced that it has eased the travel restrictions for Indians who are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19.
This including people who have been vaccinated or have recovered and do not have to produce negative Covid-19 tests even when traveling from countries where the Delta variant is widespread such as India and do not have to quarantine on entry.
Now, Switzerland has become the first country to open its doors for fully vaccinated visitors from post-second Covid-19 wave India.
It may be noted that India and Switzerland have so far not formed an air bubble due to which direct flights are not available, which means passengers need to transiting via Paris or Amsterdam to reach Switzerland.
